The DGsMO of both India and Pakistan have agreed not to resort to firing across the borders, starting the night of 24/25 February 2021. As on date, there’s an absolute trust deficit between the two counties. This avowed and renewed adherence to stop exchanges across the border; would it really last? More so, when there remains an intrinsic linkage between cross-border firing and infiltration of terrorists under its cover.
