The conclave was organised by BharatShakti.in with the support of the Ministry of Defence, GOI. The conceptual premise of the conclave recognises that in an era of globalization and an increasingly violent world, peace and stability are closely linked to nations coming together to fight common threats that transcend national boundaries. The way forward is collective endeavours to contain emerging threats by use of our synergised hard and soft power.
It’s also a fact that with India’s growing defence industry, it can provide the wherewithal to friendly foreign countries in the region to build their forces and assist them in better meeting security challenges they face, both regionally and globally. To further this driver of stability, it is important to exchange information and experiences and find new models for fortifying ourselves against emerging challenges.
